Until now it was only the white D4i dive computer that came with colour actually on the unit itself rather than just the strap. On the new D4i Novo the whole unit is coloured in either white, blue, lime or black and the whole strap is made of silicone making it super comfy. And it has metal buttons making it a bit more durable. The New Suunto D4i has optional wireless air integration – current cylinder pressure and remaining air time. Suunto have also integrated the dive software for the D4i Novo with the movescount website which is a sort of facebook for Suunto users - allowing you to download all your dives onto a public shared platform allowing other users to see them and you to see theirs. Creating a massive online dive resource of both dive profiles and dive sites. The Air integration on the D4i Novo means that you only have to check your watch/dive computer to see all relevant dive data - no more need to search around for your SPG! Multi-mode versatility In both Air and Nitrox mode, the clear, easy-to-read screen displays your current and maximum depth, current time, dive time, decompression time, and temperature. Audible and visual depth and time alarms warn you when it’s time to start your ascent. In Nitrox mode, you can maximize your dive time by adjusting the oxygen content of your gas between 21% and 50% and your PO2 limit between 0.5 and 1.6 bar. Suuntoi D4i Novo - Dedicated freedive mode With its innovative freedive functions and dedicated Freedive mode, Suunto D4i Novo is also perfect if you’re serious about breath-hold diving. Programmed to sample depth three times a second, Suunto D4i Novo records highly accurate data on the true depth reached. Flexible decompression Using the Suunto D4i Novo RGBM, the Suunto D4i Novo enables continuous decompression for optimal ascent time. For deeper dives, the Suunto D4i Novo Deep Stop option adds further protection with a series of deep stops between your maximum depth and ceiling. Plan and review You can test upcoming dives and view no-decompression time data for different depths before getting in the water with the built-in dive planner. After your dive, you can easily transfer your dive data to your computer for further analysis using the optional Suunto DM4 software, which includes a detailed logbook featuring a graphical representation of all your dives.
